Privacy Policy

ChartMint is operated by Frequency AI Ltd, trading as Cashew Crate (“we”, “us”, “our”). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how we handle it.

1. Data Processing

All data processing happens entirely in your browser. When you paste, type, or upload data into ChartMint, it is processed using JavaScript running on your device. Your data is never uploaded to our servers, and we never have access to it.

2. What We Collect

We collect minimal information:

  • Account information: If you sign in via our authentication service, we store your email address for account management and subscription billing.
  • Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Polar. We do not store credit card details.
  • Cookie consent preference: Stored in your browser's localStorage.
  • Usage preferences: Chart settings and recent data are stored locally in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Your data files (CSV, JSON, etc.)
  • The content of charts you create
  • Browsing activity or page analytics (unless you consent to cookies)
  • Device fingerprints or tracking identifiers

4. Advertising

Free users may see ads served by Google AdSense. These ads are only displayed if you consent to cookies via our consent banner (Google Consent Mode v2). If you decline cookies, no ads are shown. Pro users never see ads.

5. Cookies

We use localStorage (not tracking cookies) to store your preferences and license status. Google AdSense may set cookies if you consent. You can revoke consent at any time by clearing your browser storage.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Polar: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
  • Google AdSense: Advertising for free users (consent required)
  • Cloudflare: Static hosting and CDN delivery

7. Data Retention

Since we do not collect your chart data, there is nothing to retain. Account information is retained as long as your account is active.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account information. Contact us at support@cashewcrate.com for any data-related requests.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
